Barracuda 50FC Installation Guide, Rev. A
General description
Barracuda 50FC disc drives are high-speed, random-access dig-
ital-data storage devices designed to be used within a Fibre
Channel host system.
The drive is a component for installation in an enclosure
designed for the drive. The disc drive must receive adequate
cooling (refer to "Providing adequate cooling") and it must be
sufficiently grounded and shielded from emissions. The Barra-
cuda 50FC Product Manual (part number 83329473) contains
guidelines for a properly designed enclosure.
