Grounding the Power Inverter:
PLEASE NOTICE: Before using the power inverter, it must be grounded
against the supplying vehicle. Please notice that the unit is only suitable for
use in vehicles which are wired with minus against mass.
On the left side of the „+", „-" connecting terminals you will find the grounding
connection (5) that is connected both with the metal housing of the power
inverter and with the earth conductor clamp of the shockproof socket (230 V).
It is advisable to use a green and yellow wire. First, unscrew the wing nut and
insert the cable with its lug on the stud bolt and then tighten the wing nut
again.
Simply connect the grounding cable to any part of the metal body of your car.

Changing the Fuse:

If
- the power consumption of the connected device is too high, or
- the connected device is defective and leads to a short circuit,
it can happen that the fuse blows. In this case switch off the connected device
and disconnect all connections from the unit. Replace the blown fuse with one
of the same type and dimensions (Fuse 35 A). If the fuse cannot be removed
easily, only use suitable pliers to pull out the fuse.
If you want to take output voltage measurements, please keep in mind that
your measuring instrument measures root mean square values. Otherwise the
displayed value does not correspond to the actual value.
