4.6.3 Lay the return hose
¶
Lay the PVC hose (Fig. 33, item 1) for the test oil
return into the test oil tank.

When connecting the hose lines, ensure that there
are no kinks in the hoses. If the hose lines are
kinked, the high pressure rail will no longer be
adequately cooled, which in turn can damage the
pressure control valves.

Catch any test oil escaping from the hose lines.
1. Connect the supply hose (Fig. 34, item 1) to the
high-pressure rail.
2. Connect the return hose (Fig. 34, item 2) to the
high-pressure rail.
3. Fit the return hose (Fig. 34, item 2) in the mounting
bracket (Fig. 34, item 3).

When the assembly panel is removed (e.g. when
shutting down), the supply and return hoses for
cooling oil must be connected to each other.
