4.4 Installation of shut-off valve

All items required for assembly are contained in the
parts kit 1 687 415 058.
The shut-off valve protects the low pressure manometer
(250 kPa) against excess pressure and is connected in
the manometer feed.
1. Remove the union nut (Fig. 27, item 1) and take the
ferrule out of the screwed connection.

2. Fit the pipe (Fig. 28, item 1) to the safety valve using
the screwed connection (Fig. 28, item 2).

3. Remove the side cover from the test bench.
4. Remove the manometer feed hose(Fig. 29, item 2)
from the screwed connection for the manometer
connection.
5. Connect the safety valve to the screwed connection
(Fig. 29, item 1) for the manometer connection. For
this, use the union nut and the ferrule from step 1.
6. Connect the manometer feed hose (Fig. 29, item 2)
to the safety valve.
