Charging the Battery
1. The rechargeable battery (10) must be charged before the first use.
Only recharge the battery once it is has been fully discharged, i.e.
the power clearly decreases. Otherwise the battery may not achieve
its full capacity. Important! Only use the provided charger and power
supply unit to charge the battery.
2. Connect the charger (12) with power mains. The green power
indicator (13) turns on and indicates that power is on.
3. Insert the battery into the charger. The red charging LED starts
flashing in order to indicate that the battery is charged.
4. While charging, the battery and the charger become lightly warm.
After charging process the red charging LED turns on to show that
the battery is fully charged. Charging process takes approx. 1 hour.
Remove the battery from the charger and unplug from power mains.
Inserting and Removing the Battery
1. Insert the battery into the slot of the impact screwdriver. Do not
apply force when inserting the battery into the slot. Iserting can be
achieveed easily and without resistance.
2. The battery must be inserted completely until the battery release clip
(9) automatically audibly locks into place. To remove the battery
press the battery release clip and pull out the battery.
Checking the Battery Charging Level
The 5 LEDs of the battery power indicator show the charging level of
the battery.
Press the test button (8) to check the charging level of the battery. If the
green LEDs turn on, the battery is fully charged. If the red LED turns
on, the battery has to be charged.
