Charging the Battery

A new battery will only reach its full performance after several
charge/discharge cycles. The battery is equipped with a temperature
monitoring device, which supervises the charging process. The charger will
only work in an ambient temperature of between 0°C and 40°C.
1. To separate the battery (5) from the impact wrench, first set the rotating
direction toggle switch (2) to the middle position (locked).
2. Now press the locking button (4) and pull the battery out to the back.
3. Please make sure that the power mains voltage in your area corresponds
to the operating voltage stated on the type label of the charger. Now
connect the power cable to a wall socket.
4. Slide the battery onto the charger until it locks in place with an audible
click. The charging status light (6) now lights up green.
5. To start the charging process, press the start button (7) below the LED.
6. During the charging process the LED lights up red. The charging process
takes approximately one hour; the end of the process is indicated by a
change from red to green.

Attaching the Sockets

The impact wrench is equipped with a ½" square shaft.
Attach the socket to the square shaft. The ring on the front of the shaft
holds the socket in place.

Inserting the Battery

1. Set the rotating direction toggle switch (2) to the middle position (locked) in
order to avoid unintentional start-up.
2. Now slide the battery (5) onto the guide rails from the back and slide it
forward until it snaps in place with an audible click.

Setting the Rotating Direction

The right/left rotation toggle switch (2) must only be operated while the motor
is at a complete standstill. Therefore it is blocked while the ON/OFF switch (3)
is pressed.
Rotating Direction Right: Slide the rotating direction toggle switch to the left as
far as it will go.
Rotating Direction Left: Slide the rotating direction toggle switch to the right as
far as it will go.
