Inserting batteries
By inserting 2 x 1 .5 V batteries (type AAA/Micro/LR03), you prevent
the set time, alarm times and stored radio stations from being deleted
in the event of a power failure . The batteries make sure that the internal
clock continues to run even during a power outage . The display
will go out, however . When power is restored, the correct time auto-
matically appears on the display
NOTE

The device can also be operated using the mains power connec-
tion only without batteries . Operation using the batteries only is
not possible .

In the event of a power failure, all settings (such as time, alarm
times and stored radio stations) will be reset if there are no
charged batteries in the battery compartment

Open the battery compartment cover

Insert 2 x 1 .5 V AAA/Micro/LR03 batteries (not supplied) into
the battery compartment

Close the battery compartment
snapping it into place .
