 If the device is not in standby mode shortly before the recording time, a message appears on the screen.
Switch the device to standby mode.
If no blank DVD has been inserted or if there is insufficient storage space on the blank DVD, a message
appears on the screen. Insert a new blank DVD, if necessary.
The recorder switches automatically to the start time and begins recording.
Stopping a programmed recording
In order to cancel a recording which has already started, press STOP during recording and switch to DVD
mode with the DVD button. You can also switch the device into standby mode to end a recording.
Changing, deleting or disabling a programmed recording
Before recording, you may re-edit the programme entry at any time, by opening the Timer menu again.
Select the recording to be changed and press ENTER. A menu with
the following options is displayed:

Change: here you can change the recording data;

Delete: the programmed recording is deleted;

Disabled: the programmed recording is retained in the list but is
not executed when the time is reached. In the same place, you
may re-enable a disabled programmed recording at a later time.
All the menu items are selected by the arrow keys and confirmed
with ENTER.

Editing DVD recordings

 Insert the DVD or stop the playback; the DVD menu appears.
 Select a recording with the arrow keys and press ENTER.
A menu containing the editing options will be displayed.
Playback title
 Select Playbk. and press ENTER, to play the selected title.
Delete title
 Select Delete and press ENTER.
 A submenu opens in which you may select whether just the title selected or all the titles on the disk
should be deleted.
 Confirm your selection with ENTER or press MENU, to cancel the procedure and return to the previous
menu.
Protect title
 Open the Geschützt option by pressing ENTER and confirm the subsequent question with the field by
pressing ENTER. The title symbol will be displayed.
Now the title cannot be deleted nor the title name changed.
The entry changes to U n p r o t e c t . Use the same method to unprotect the title.
Edit
Here it is possible to assign another name to the chosen title, to split the title into two titles, to cut out a
particular part or to set an index screen.
The "Split recording" and "Delete section" functions cannot be executed with the DVD±R media.
Rename title
 Choose Rename, to rename the chosen title.
