Safety instructions

Please read these operating instructions thoroughly, paying
special attention to the safety notices, before using the appliance
for the first time. This appliance should only be used as designated
and described in these instructions. Please keep these instructions
in a safe place for future reference. If you give the device away,
please also pass on these instructions.

Keep electrical equipment out of reach of children

This unit is not intended for use by people (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental abilities or for those without experience and/or
knowledge, unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or
they have been instructed on its use.
Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with this unit.
If swallowed, batteries may endanger life. For this reason, keep the batteries out
of reach of children. If a battery is swallowed, please obtain immediate medical
assistance.
Keep plastic packaging and protective film out of the reach of children. It may
cause suffocation.

Setting up the appliance safely

This device is intended for private use only. Only use the product in residential
rooms or similar areas.
Set up and operate all components on a stable, level and vibration-free surface to
prevent the loudspeaker from falling down.
Always ensure that

there are no direct heat sources (e.g. heaters) that could affect the device;

the device is not placed in direct sunlight;

there is no contact with moisture, water and splashes;

naked flames (such as lit candles) are not placed near or on the device;

no liquid-filled containers (e.g. vases) are placed on any part of the device;

the device is not placed close to magnetic fields (e.g. television sets or other
speakers);

the vents are uncovered so as to ensure there is always adequate ventilation.
