Troubleshooting

Possible Solution
Headband has been set unevenly and there is an
uneven distance from the eyes to the lens for the
filter
- Re-adjust the headband to reduce the distance
from the eyes and the darkening filter.
Front cover lens is soiled or damaged.
- Replace the front cover lens
Sensors are soiled.
- Clean the surface of the sensors
Welding current is too low.
Rechargeable batteries in the auto-darkening filter
cartridge are discharged
- Expose the helmet normal room light or daylight.
The cartridge will be restored after 5 or 10 min.
Operating temperature is too low
- Do not use at temperatures below -5°C
Front and inside cover lens and/or filter lens are
soiled
- Clean the lenses or the filter
Ambient light is insufficient
- Provide brighten ambient light
Shade number is incorrectly set
- Reset the shade number
Headband and headgear are not adjusted properly
- Re-adjust headband and headgear
