Safety instructions for biscuit joiners
■ Disc milling cutters must be designed at least
for the speed indicated on the power tool.
Disc cutters running at excessive speed can fly
apart and cause injuries .
■ Always use the blade guard.
A blade guard protects the user against parts of
the milling disc which have broken off and also
against unintentional contact with the disc .
■ Always wear a dust mask when using the appli-
ance!
■ Do not use blunt or damaged disc milling
blades!
■ Check that the blade guard return system works
correctly before every use!

Before use
Charging the battery pack
(see fig . A)
CAUTION!
► Always disconnect the mains plug before re-
moving the battery pack 5 from or inserting
it into the charger .
NOTE
► Never charge the battery pack if the ambient
temperature is below 10°C or above 40°C .
If a lithium-ion battery is to be stored for an
extended period, the charge level should be
checked regularly . The optimum charge level
is between 50% and 80% . The storage climate
should be cool and dry and the ambient tem-
perature should be between 0°C and 50°C .
♦ Insert the battery pack 5 into the high-speed
charger 8 .
♦ Plug the mains plug into the mains power
socket . The red control LED 9 lights up
