1. Pre-charge the jump starter from a donator car or
battery.
2. Connect pre-charged jump starter to the car to be
started. First connect the red positive cable to the
positive terminal of the battery and then the black
negative cable to a massive metal part in the engine
compartment. Avoid connecting the negative cable
to the negative battery terminal. The charging condi-
tion indicator (7) shows the voltage of the battery.
3. Press ON/OFF (4) to active the jump starter, the
indicators (7) show up to 14 V.
4. Turn on the engine.
When the engine is running turn on a powerful con-
sumer, e.g. the heated rear window to compensate
the voltage peak caused by disconnecting the box.
Turn off the box with the button (4) and first discon-
nect the black negative cable and then the red posi-
tive cable. Turn off the consumer and operate the
vehicle long enough to build a charge in the battery.
Operation – Manual Booster Funktion
Should the vehicle not start as described above, you
have the manual booster function at your disposal.
