safety notes to avoid malfunctions, damage or physical injury:
▪ Please read this manual carefully and use the welding helmet only
according to this manual.
▪ Dispose of used packaging material carefully or store it out of the
reach of children. There is a danger of suffocation!
▪ Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to
use the welding helmet, unless they are supervised and briefed for their
safety by a qualified person.
▪ Heat and radiation are released during arc-welding. The welding helmet
provides protection for your eyes and face. Wear appropriate protective
clothing to protect the rest of your body. Never undertake welding without
eye and body protection.
▪ Welding produces toxic gases. Use a suitable suction device.
▪ Never open the flip-up visor (5) during welding.
▪ Before each use of the welding helmet, check that all parts are clean. Check
all controls for signs of wear or damage. Replace parts with scratches, cracks
or bumps immediately to avoid injury.
▪ Do not expose the welding helmet to high temperatures, rain or strong
vibrations. Avoid strong mechanical stress. Do not place the helmet on hot
surfaces.
▪ The welding helmet does not protect against high impact hazards.
▪ Do not use the helmet for cutting work. The helmet may only be used for
welding and the associated grinding work.
▪ The welding helmet does not protect against explosions or corrosive liquids.
▪ Do not make any modifications to the welding helmet. Only use original
spare parts.
▪ Only use the welding helmet in ambient temperatures from -5 °C to +55 °C.
▪ Do not use aggressive substances to clean the helmet.
▪ If the welding helmet is damaged, stop using the device and have it repaired
by a specialist or contact our customer service. Do not disassemble the
device or attempt to repair it yourself.
