Installing the waterproof connector kit (optional)
The waterproof connector kit provides a weather-resistant shield for the camera's Ethernet connector to
prevent damage from moisture, dust, and other external factors that could interfere with the connection.
Camera Ethernet connector
1. Place the ring gasket around the camera's Ethernet connector.
2. Pass the Ethernet cable through the waterproof connector nut, foam gasket and waterproof
connector cover.
3. Connect the Ethernet cable to the camera's Ethernet connector, then
attach the waterproof connector cover and rotate clockwise until tight.
4. Push the foam gasket onto the inside of the waterproof connector
cover fingers until it is snug and slightly protrudes out of the waterproof connector cover.
5. Attach the waterproof connector nut to the waterproof connector
cover then rotate clockwise until tight. The foam gasket expands to
ensure a waterproof seal around the cable and the nut.
Note: For extra layer of protection, you may also want to seal the ends with silicone tape.
