• Children of 8 years and above and persons with impaired phys-
ical, sensory or intellectual capabilities or a lack of experience
or knowledge may only use the appliance if an adult responsi-
ble for their safety supervises or has instructed them in the safe
use of this appliance and the possible hazards involved.
• In order to protect them from the dangers of electrical appli-
ances, never allow children younger than 8 in the vicinity of
this appliance without supervision. For this reason, position the
appliance so that it is out of the vicinity of children. Ensure that
the cable is also out of reach.
• This appliance is not intended for use with an external timer or
a separate remote-control system.
• Caution: in order to avoid the inadvertent resetting of the ther-
mal protection, this appliance must not be supplied by an ex-
ternal switch, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is
regularly switched on and off by such a switch.

Before using for the first time

• Remove all packaging from the appliance.
• Make sure the voltage of the device corresponds with your home power supply.
• Voltage 220V-240V 50Hz.
• Wash all the accessories in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. These
accessories are also dishwasher safe. Always place the appliance on a flat, stable
surface and make sure that there is a minimum 30 cm of free space around it. This
appliance is not suitable for use outdoors or as an built-in unit. Position the unit in a
safe place. Not too close to the wall, a wall can burn or become discoloured. Do
not allow curtains or similar fabrics to come in contact with the appliance. Do not
place anything between the base of the appliance and surface on which the appli-
ance is positioned in order to prevent it from burning.
• Food such as bread, pizza and meat can burn if left in the oven to cook too long.
This can be avoided by checking the food in the oven regularly and not leaving it
in too long while the oven is switched on.
• Do not heat pots or cans of food in the oven as these can explode and cause in-
jury. Only use oven-proof bowls and dishes.
• The oven can smell and generate smoke when used for the first time, this is normal,
so make sure that the room is well ventilated.
Caution!
The exterior walls of the appliance can become very hot when in use. To prevent
burns, avoid physical contact. Always use the handle on the glass door (nr. 1) to open
the oven.
Use of the accessories
• Use the rack (nr.6) for preparing dry foods such as bread or pizza.
• The oven tray (nr. 7) is suitable for preparing foods which release fat such as meat
and chicken dishes. The oven tray (nr. 7) can also be placed under the rack (nr. 6) to
catch any fat or crumbs, from bread or pizza for example.
