MOUNTING
The radio converter can either be glued on with the enclosed adhesive pad or
screwed to the surface through the two fastening holes (11) in the lower part
of the housing. Due to the small size, it is also possible to mount the radio
converter in the housing of the existing chime. In this case, you can lead the
GB
external battery control LED out of the housing in order to still receive an
optical message about an empty battery in the radio converter.
If the internal battery control LED of the radio converter is visible after
mounting, you can also remove the external battery control LED. It is only
connected to the board of the radio converter via a plug connection and can
simply be removed. This does not affect the function of the radio converter.
Make sure that the antenna (5) is as straight as possible and points upwards
in order to achieve the best possible range. The antenna (5) must not be
shortened or extended. When mounting, make sure not to damage the
insulation of the antenna to prevent short circuits.
When closing the housing, make sure that the cables lie in the recesses
provided in the lower part of the housing so that the cables are not squeezed.
