• Do not cover the air vents when the appliance is in use.
• Do not switch on the appliance when it is empty.
• Unplug the appliance when it is not in use.
• Let the appliance cool down before storage.
• Do not use cutlery or another metal object to remove a stuck piece of bread
when the appliance is switched on. First switch off and disconnect the
appliance.

If your bread is still frozen, use the defrost function. To use the defrost function:
1. Follow step 1-4 from chapter Toasting bread.
2. Press the defrost button immediately after step 4 to activate the defrost function. The defrost

button lights up blue.
When the bread is defrosted and toasted, the activation handle jumps up.

To use the Reheat function:
1. Follow step 1-4 from chapter Toasting bread.
Press the reheat button
2. immediately after step 4 to activate the defrost function. The reheat

We recommend cleaning the appliance after use. To clean the appliance:
1. Unplug the appliance.
2. Let the appliance cool down.
3. Pull out the crumb tray 4.
4. Empty the crumb tray in a bin.

5. Place back the crumb tray 4.
6. Clean the appliance with a damp cloth.
7. Store the appliance in the original packaging in a dry and enclosed space.
