8 Setting up
Make sure you position the device in a safe and stable place, away from objects that might
fall on it, thereby avoiding unwanted accidents.
Note:
– Given the variety of paints and varnishes used to coat furniture, it cannot be ruled out that the
device's feet could leave visible traces on furniture due to a chemical reaction. Do not place
the device on top of valuable furniture without appropriate protection.
– Do not expose the product to direct sunlight, vibrations, dust, hot and cold temperatures or
damp environments. The device must not be placed next to powerful transformers or motors.
Place the device on a flat, level surface that can support its load.
9 Operation
Tip:
Keeping the UP/12/24 button (8) or the DOWN button (9) pressed during setup changes the
value continuously.
9.1 Setting the time
1. Press the UP/12/24 button (8) to toggle the time format display between 12h and 24h.
2. Press the TIME SET button (7) and use the UP/12/24 button (8) and the DOWN button (9) to set
the hour display.
3. Press the TIME SET button (7) again and use the UP/12/24 button (8) and the DOWN button (9)
to set the minute display.
4. Press the TIME SET button (7) again to finish setting the time.
9.2 Setting the alarm
1. Press the AL1 SET button (5) and use the UP/12/24 button (8) and the DOWN button (9) to set
the hour display of alarm 1.
2. Press the AL1 SET button (5) again and use the UP/12/24 button (8) and the DOWN button (9)
to set the minute display of alarm 1.
3. Press the AL1 SET button (5) again and use the UP/12/24 button (8) and the DOWN button (9)
to set the duration of alarm 1.
You can set the alarm duration between 1 and 30 minutes (5 minutes by default).

4. Press the AL1 SET button (5) again to save the setting.
5. To set alarm 2, proceed in the same way as for alarm 1, but use the AL2 SET button (6).
6. Use the alarm selector switch (17) to set the desired alarm.
The alarm 1 indicator (2) and the alarm 2 indicator (3) light up when the alarm is activated.

7. Use the function switch (13) to select the desired alarm type according to the symbols:
Alarm with sound and vibration
Alarm with vibration
Alarm with sound
Alarm off
The vibration indicator (10) and the alarm sound indicator (11) indicate the type of alarm.

8. Use the VOL/OFF control (12) to set the alarm volume (OFF = off, control engages).
9. Press and hold the SNOOZE button (19) and use the UP/12/24 button (8) and the
DOWN button (9) to set the SNOOZE time (alarm repetition).
You can set the SNOOZE time between 1 and 30 minutes (10 minutes by default).

10. Press the SNOOZE button (19) briefly to save the setting.
9.3 Enabling and disabling the alarm
1. When the alarm sounds, press any button except SNOOZE (19) to disable the alarm for 24 hours.
Unless the alarm is switched off, it will automatically switch off after the preset alarm time.

The optical alarm indicator (4) also flashes when the alarm sounds.

2. When the alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE button (19) to mute the alarm for the preset
SNOOZE time.
The respective ALARM 1 (2) or ALARM 2 (3) indicator flashes during the SNOOZE time.

3. To shut off the alarm completely, push the function switch (13) to OFF.
9.4 Display brightness
Use the DIMMER control (18) to adjust the display brightness continuously.
9.5 USB-C connections

1. Use the USB-C connections (14) to connect devices with a matching USB input for charging
®
or power supply.
2. The capacity of these connections depends on the capacity of the DC 5V connection (15) of the
USB power supply. The total power consumption of the devices plugged into the USB-C
tions (14) must not exceed the capacity of the USB power supply.

Strictly observe the maximum capacity of these connections. The device may be damaged
if overloaded.

10 Cleaning and maintenance

Important:
– Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions. They
can damage the housing and can cause the product to malfunction.
– Do not immerse the product in water.
1. Disconnect the product from the power supply.
2. Clean the product with a dry, lint-free cloth.
11 Disposal
11.1 Product
This symbol must appear on any electrical and electronic equipment placed on the EU
market. This symbol indicates that this device should not be disposed of as unsorted
municipal waste at the end of its service life.
Owners of WEEE (Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment) shall dispose of it
separately from unsorted municipal waste. Spent batteries and accumulators, which are
not enclosed by the WEEE, as well as lamps that can be removed from the WEEE in
a non-destructive manner, must be removed by end users from the WEEE in a non-
destructive manner before it is handed over to a collection point.
Distributors of electrical and electronic equipment are legally obliged to provide free take-back of

manufacturers or distributors within the meaning of the ElektroG
End users are responsible for deleting personal data from the WEEE to be disposed of.
It should be noted that different obligations about the return or recycling of WEEE may apply in
countries outside of Germany.
11.2 Batteries/rechargeable batteries
Remove batteries/rechargeable batteries, if any, and dispose of them separately from the product.
According to the Battery Directive, end users are legally obliged to return all spent batteries/recharge-
able batteries; they must not be disposed of in the normal household waste.
Batteries/rechargeable batteries containing hazardous substances are labelled with this
symbol to indicate that disposal in household waste is forbidden. The abbreviations for
heavy metals in batteries are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead (name on (re-
chargeable) batteries, e.g. below the trash icon on the left).
Used (rechargeable) batteries can be returned to collection points in your municipality, our stores or
wherever (rechargeable) batteries are sold. You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute
to environmental protection.
Batteries/rechargeable batteries that are disposed of should be protected against short circuit and
their exposed terminals should be covered completely with insulating tape before disposal. Even
empty batteries/rechargeable batteries can contain residual energy that may cause them to swell,
burst, catch fire or explode in the event of a short circuit.
