Sehr geehrter Kunde, vielen Dank, dass Sie sich für eines unserer Qualitätsprodukte ent-
schieden haben. Im Folgenden werden wir Ihnen die Funktionen und die Handhabung un-
seres Produkts erklären. Bitte nehmen Sie sich die Zeit und lesen die Gebrauchsanweisung
in Ruhe durch. Beachten Sie alle Sicherheits- und Bedienungshinweise. Bewahren Sie diese
Gebrauchsanweisung auf und geben Sie diese bei Weitergabe des Gerätes mit. Sollten Sie
Fragen oder Anregungen zu diesem Produkt haben, wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren Fach-
händler oder an unser Service-Team. Wir freuen uns, wenn Sie uns weiterempfehlen und
wünschen Ihnen viel Erfolg mit diesem Produkt.
1. Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Der in der feuerfesten Tonschale erzeugte Rauch verbreitet durch die Löcher im Tondeckel
ein rauchiges Kaffee-Aroma. Wespen meiden den Rauch, welchen sie als unangenehm
empfinden. Eine andere Verwendung als die angegebene ist nicht zulässig! Bei Schäden,
die durch unsachgemäße Verwendung und/oder Nichtbeachtung der Gebrauchsanweisung
und/oder durch nicht erlaubten Umbau entstehen, wird keine Haftung für einen entstande-
nen Schaden oder Folgeschäden übernommen und es erlischt der Gewärhleistungsanspruch .
2. Sicherheitshinweise
• Das Produkt und das Verpackungsmaterial gehö-
ren nicht in den Aktionsbereich von Kindern. Kin-
der sollten nicht mit dem Produkt spielen.
• Betreiben Sie das Produkt nicht in einer Umge-
bung in der brennbare Gase, Dämpfe oder Staub
vorhanden sind.
• Dieses Produkt ist nur für den Gebrauch im Au-
ßenbereich geeignet.
• Betreiben Sie das Produkt nur auf einer feuerfes-
ten Unterlage und legen Sie das beigelegte Vlies
sowie den Ständer unter.
• Lassen Sie das Produkt während des Betriebs
nicht unbeaufsichtigt.
3. Lieferumfang
• Wespen-Verdufter Kaffee (feuerfestes Tongefäß)
4. Inbetriebnahme
1. Stellen Sie das Produkt auf einen hitzebeständigen Untergrund (Vlies unter Metallunter-
setzer legen; darauf achten, dass Luft an den Boden der Schale gelangt) oder hängen Sie es
mit dem beiliegenden Drahtbügel an einem Haken auf. Alles im Lieferumfang enthalten.
2. Nehmen Sie den Deckel des Produkts ab.
3. Geben Sie 10 g handelsübliches, frisches und trockenes Kaffeepulver (nicht im Lieferum-
fang enthalten) in die Schale.
4. Zünden Sie das Pulver an. Halten Sie die Flamme so lange daran, bis es glimmt. Je nach
Wind muss es hin und wieder neu angezündet werden.
5. Schließen Sie den Deckel. Der Rauch kann durch die Löcher entweichen und so Wespen
vertreiben.
6. Warten Sie ab, bis die Glut endgültig erloschen ist, oder löschen Sie diese mit Wasser,
wenn Sie das Produkt unbeaufsichtigt lassen müssen.
7. Entfernen Sie die erkaltete Asche aus dem Produkt.
Hinweis: Die Reaktion der jeweiligen Tiere auf unsere Produkte kann variieren. Die Ent-
wicklung unserer Produkte, Methoden und Anwendungs-Tipps basieren auf Erfahrungen,
Tests und dem Feedback unserer Kunden. Deshalb ist die Tiervertreibung in den meisten
Fällen erfolgreich.
5. Allgemeine Hinweise
Es ist zu beachten, dass Bedienfehler oder Schäden, die durch Nichtbeachtung der Ge-
brauchsanweisung entstehen, außerhalb des Einflussbereichs der Gardigo liegen und für
daraus resultierende Schäden keinerlei Haftung übernommen werden kann. Dies gilt auch
dann, wenn Veränderungen oder Reparaturversuche an dem Produkt vorgenommen wur-
den, sowie bei Schäden und Folgeschäden, die durch Fehlbedienungen, fahrlässige Behand-
lung oder Missbrauch entstanden sind. In all diesen Fällen erlischt auch die Gewährleistung.

Dear customer, thank you for deciding on one of our quality products. In this manual we
will explain the functions and the handling of our product. Please take your time to read
through the manual and follow all safety and operational instructions in order to achieve
best results. Keep this manual in a safe place and pass it on when giving the product to a
third person. If you have suggestions or questions about this product please contact your
dealer or our service team. We would be delighted if you would recommend us and wish you
success with the use of this product.
1. Designated use
The smoke generated in the fireproof clay bowl spreads a smoky coffee aroma through the
holes in the lid. Wasps will avoid the smoke, which they find most unpleasant. Any other
use as the mentioned is not permitted! No liabilities will be taken for damages or con-
sequential damages or claims resulting out of not reading and/or not following the user
guide and/or any form of modification on or in the product. Under these circumstances, no
warranty services will be granted.
2. Safety instructions
• The product and the packaging materials, etc. do
not belong in the hands of children. Children are
not allowed to play with the device.
• Do not use this product in the vicinity of explosive
gases, vapors or excessive dust.
• This product is suitable for outdoor use only.
• Only operate the product on a fire-proof surface
and place the enclosed fleece and the stand un-
derneath.
• Do not leave the product unattended during oper-
ation.

4. Use
1. Place the product on a heat-resistant surface (place the fleece under the stand; make
sure that air gets to the bottom of the bowl) or hang it on a hook using the wire hanger.
All accessories included.
2. Remove the lid of the product.
3. Pour 10 g of ordinary, fresh and dry coffee powder (not included) into the bowl.
4. Ignite the powder. Hold a flame on it until it starts to glow. Depending on the wind, the
coffee may need to be reignited from time to time.
5. Close the lid. The smoke can escape through the holes and drive away wasps.
6. Wait until the embers have gone out completely or use water to extinguish them if you
need to leave the product unattended.
7. Remove the cooled ash from the product.
Note: the response of each animal to our animal repellent may vary. The development of
our devices, methods and application tips are based on experience, testing and feedback
from our customers. Therefore the devices are successful in most cases.
5. General information
It should be noted that operating or damage caused by non-observance of the operating
instructions are beyond the control of Gardigo and no liability can be assumed for resulting
damages and the warranty can only be applied to a fully equipped device in prime con-
dition. This applies especially if alterations or repair attempts have been made and/or if
the operation of the device has been incorrect, careless or abusive. In all these cases, the
warranty expires.
