SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

You should follow the safety instructions carefully to prevent damages or injuries to the
tool or the user, respectively.
1. If necessary, wear protective clothing (protective gloves, shoes, glasses, breathing
protection, etc.). Do not wear jewellery or loose clothing and if you have long hair, tie it up.
2. Before you replace parts or perform maintenance on the tool, make sure it is disconnected
from the power supply.
3. Keep your workplace clean and ensure for proper lighting.
4. Keep the tool in a dry location that is far enough away from heat and dangerous gases.
Do not use the tool near explosive substances or lightly flammable materials.
5. The surrounding conditions should adapted to fit the tool and the task. This is a household
tool and should only be used as such. Do not use this tool for heavy duty work.
6. In order to prevent danger, the drill should not be used when other persons, especially
children, are in the immediate vicinity. During and after operation, please keep children
away from this tool.
7. This device is not intended to be used by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the device by a person
responsible for their safety.
8. Children should be supervised at all times to ensure that they do not play with the device.
9. Make sure you have a good, solid foothold when using this cordless screwdriver. Many
accidents are caused by stumbling and falling.
10. If you drill into metal plates, you should use clamps or a vice. Secure the metal plates well
onto a firm base or in the vice. Place a piece of wood under the metal to be able to drill
through it without damaging the base underneath. Keep in mind that the metal plates
could turn with the tool, causing serious cuts.
11. Make sure that there are no live wires around your workplace.
12. Prior to drilling, check the walls for cables (a metal detector may also be used). Do not
touch the chuck, the socket or the drill bit.
13. Do not try to take apart the drill itself or the recharger. Only qualified professionals may
service the drill.
14. Should the recharger (the hull, cable or plug) be damaged, have it immediately replaced
through customer service. Do not use any other adapter other than the one supplied.
15. This tool does not need to be serviced additionally. The same applies for the electrical
parts.
16. Before you clean the plastic parts, you should disconnect the tool from the power supply.
To clean the tool, use a damp cloth and a mild cleanser. Never immerse this tool or its
