SMART RETROFIT KIT

Battery replacement

1.
Open dispenser with key. To do this, lift hood and swivel forwards. (See 6. Assembly,
step 1)
2.
Remove battery box from holder and disconnect cable from electronics box. Press the
locking mechanism of the connector to do this. (See figures 2.a and 2.b)
3.
Unscrew and open battery box. Replace 4 AA alkaline batteries with new ones. Observe
correct polarity.
Close and screw on battery box.

Push battery box into holder on kit cover.
(See 6. Assembly, step 6)
5.
Join cables of electronics box to cables of battery box and guide through cable holder.
(See 6. Assembly, step 7)
Close dispenser.

When handling the smart retrofit module, take note of the main differences compared with
the smart-ready SanTRAL
Plus product series.

11. Rectifying faults
