INSTRUCTIONS:
a. Remove the lid element from the waste bin.
Open the battery compartment and insert 4 AA-batteries.
Close the battery compartment.
b. Lead the refuse bag through the ring and replace the lid element on
the waste bin.
c. Activate the on/off switch on the back of the lid element.
A red indicator will light up for 2 seconds. The indicator will
now blink red for 4 seconds. This indicates the system has
been activated.
d. If you wish to open the lid, keep your hand or an object over the
infra-red sensor at a distance of about 5-15 cm. The lid remains
open as long as objects are detected in the sensor area. The lid will
automatically close 5-6 seconds after the object is removed.

IMPORTANT:
1. Do not submerge the lid element in water. It contains a large number
of electronic parts. You can clean it with a slightly moistened cloth.
2. Do not push on the lid of the waste bin in order to close it as it opens
automatically.
3. Replace used or empty batteries as soon as possible in order to
prevent any damage to the electronic parts.
4. Avoid direct sunlight on the infra-red sensor.
5. Make sure there is enough space for the automatic waste bin to
open without its lid being blocked during opening or closing.

GEBRUIKSAANWIJZING:
a. Verwijder de dekselbehuizing van de afvalbak.
Open het batterijencompartiment en plaats 4 AA-batterijen.
Sluit het batterijencompartiment.
b. Haal de vuilniszak door de sluitring en plaats de dekselbehuizing
terug op de afvalbak.
c. Schakel de aan/uit-schakelaar op de achterkant van de
dekselbehuizing aan. Een rood indicatielampje licht gedurende
2 seconden op. Het lampje knippert nu 4 seconden rood. Dit geeft
aan dat het systeem is ingeschakeld.
d. Als u de deksel wilt openen, houdt u uw hand of een object
ca. 5-15 cm boven de infraroodsensor. De deksel blijft open als
in de sensorzone objecten worden gedetecteerd. De deksel sluit
automatisch na 5-6 seconden nadat het object wordt weggehaald.

LET OP:
1. Dompel de dekselbehuizing niet onder water. Deze is voorzien
van een groot aantal elektronische onderdelen. U kunt deze
schoonmaken met een licht vochtige doek.
2. Druk niet op de deksel van de afvalbak om deze te sluiten, als deze
automatisch wordt geopend.
3. Vervang gebruikte of lege batterijen zo snel mogelijk om mogelijke
schade aan de elektronische onderdelen te voorkomen.
4. Vermijd direct zonlicht op de infraroodsensor.
5. Zorg ervoor dat er genoeg ruimte is voor de automatische afvalbak
om open te kunnen gaan zonder dat het deksel bij het openen of
sluiten wordt geblokkeerd.
