BATTERY CHARGER AMPEROMATIC

For lead acid, AGM, Start&Stop and LFP batteries
with capacities ranging from 4-120 Ah
Please read this manual before using the battery and keep the information for future reference.
In order to minimize risk to people, the chance of electric shocks and fire, please follow the safety guidelines
below.
BATTERY PREPARATION:
A) Battery with cell caps (maintenance):
– Separate the battery from the car in order to avoid any possible damage.
(In order to avoid damage to the car body through an eventual spilling over of the battery fluid, it is advisable
to completely dismantle the battery.)
– Remove the covering caps from the battery cells and only put them back after charging so that gases which
may build up during the charging procedure can dissipate. (It is unavoidable that some acids will
spill during the charging procedure.)
–Check whether the level of liquid in each battery cell is above the recommended filling mark. If not, then the
cell concerned must be filled up with ionised or distilled water. – Do not use tap water under any
circumstances!
B) Battery without cell caps (maintenance-free): When charging batteries without cell caps, follow the instructions
of battery manufacturer carefully.
CONNECTING
1. Attach the positive battery charger leads (red) to the positive connecting end of battery. (Indicated by "P" or "+")
2. Attach the negative battery charger leads (black) to the negative connecting end of the battery (Indicated by
"N" or "-") .
Important: Good contact must be established between the crocodile clips and the connecting poles.
CHARGING MODE
Insert the power plug into the domestic socket (230v). Symbol [STAND BY] will light. Press [MODE] button, you
can choose one of the following charging modes according to battery you have to charge:
STD: standard batteries
ASTOP: start and stop batteries
LFP: lithium batteries
WHEN THE BATTERY IS COMPLETELY CHARGED
Charging: [STAND BY] [CHARGING] [STD] or [ASTOP] [LFP] will light (red led steady) .
Full charged: [STAND BY] [FULL] and [STD]/[ASTOP] [LFP] will light (red led steady).
Remark: in lead-acid charging mode, if full, it will enter into float mode automatically; in LFP charging mode, when
battery is full and the voltage is lower than 13V again, it will enter into charge mode automatically.
MANUAL DESULPHATION FUNCTION
Plug in the power supply.
In the lead-acid mode, press the button [MODE] for 3 seconds to enter into the desulfation mode.
Connect the battery following step 1 and step 2 above.
The led [CHARGING] will light green during the charging process.
Once the process has ended, there will be [STAND BY] + [CHARGING] (GREEN) + [FULL] (RED) + [STD] all
lighting.
IMPORTANT: it is not possible to change the charging mode once the desulphation has started.
If you want to quit this mode, disconnect the clamps and press the MODE button for 3seconds.
If you don't do any selection after quit desulphation mode, charger will be under float charging mode.
