SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the entire instruction manual before you start
installation and assembly and keep it for future reference.
1. Protect this device from humidity, water and other liquid.
2. Before connecting the device to power supply socket,
make sure the voltage indicated on the appliance
corresponds to the voltage in the power supply socket.
3. Protect the device from heat sources and extreme
temperatures.
4. Clean the device with soft, slightly damp cloth, without
abrasive agents.
5. If the device is not going to be used for a long time, take
out the batteries and unplug it from power supply.
6. Never disassemble this device. In case of damage, contact
authorized service point for repair.
OPERATION
Battery installation
To power the radio, prepare three type C batteries (not
included). To install batteries, take out the battery cover
compartment, placed in the rear bottom of the radio. Insert
the batteries according to the polarization. Close the battery
compartment.
CAUTION: incorrect battery installation may cause damage
to the radio. Do not use old and discharged batteries. They
may cause leakage and damage the radio. The device may
not work correctly, if the batteries are bad.
AC power
Plug the power cable to the power socket of the radio, then
plug it to the mains socket.
ATTENTION: after plugging in the power cable, the radio will
disconnect the power from the batteries.
Turning on the radio
1. Turn the volume knob down, until you hear the "click".
2. Use the band switch to select desired band.
3. Use the tuning knob to set the frequency.
