Inbetriebnahme Batterien einsetzen / austauschen • Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach auf der Rückseite des CO Melders. • Schieben Sie hierzu die Batteriefachabdeckung in Pfeilrichtung und nehmen Sie sie ab.
  • Seite 13 Montage-Schritte • Bohren Sie zwei Löcher mit Ø 5,0 mm in die Wand. Der Abstand zwischen den beiden Löchern muss dabei 52 mm betragen. Setzen Sie dann die mitgelieferten Dübel in die Löcher ein. • Drehen Sie mit Hilfe eines Schraubendrehers die beiden mitgelieferten Schrauben ein, bis die Schraubenköpfe noch etwa 5 mm aus der Wand heraus ragen.
  • Seite 14 • Die folgenden Vorschläge sollen Ihnen bei der Platzierung und Installation Ihres CO-Melders helfen: • Platzieren Sie das Gerät Außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern. Unter keinen Umständen dürfen Kinder mit dem CO-Melder hantieren. • Installieren Sie es in einem Schlafzimmer oder Flur in der Nähe des Schlafbereichs.

Stummschaltung der CO-Alarmwarnung Während sich das Gerät im CO-Alarmmodus befindet, wird der Alarmton des Geräts durch Drücken der TEST/SILENCE-Taste etwa 10 Minuten lang angehalten. Die ALARM-Anzeige (rot) blinkt weiterhin im CO-Alarmmodus und zeigt an, dass das Gerät in den CO-Alarm-Stummmodus befindet.

Auf dem Display wird immer „ “ angezeigt HINWEIS: Bei Warnung vor niedrigem Batteriespannung kann das Gerät weiterhin ein CO- Alarmsignal für mindestens 4 Minuten erzeugen oder 30 Tage lang vor niedrigem Batteriestand warnen.

  • Seite 19 Gerät Testen Im normalen Betriebszustand können Sie das Gerät mit der Taste TEST/SILENCE testen. Drücken und halten Sie die Taste TEST/SILENCE. Es sind mehrere Alarmtöne zu hören und die rote Alarm-LED blinkt. Nach dem achten Ton gibt das Gerät eine normale Alarmlautstärke wieder. Der Testvorgang wird durch Loslassen der Taste beendet.

Die Auslösung Ihres CO-Melders weist auf das Vorhandensein von Kohlenmonoxid (CO) hin, dass tödlich sein kann. • Bewahren Sie Ruhe und öffnen Sie alle Türen und Fenster, um die Belüftung zu verbessern. Stellen Sie den Betrieb aller mit Brennstoff betriebenen Geräte ein und sorgen Sie dafür, dass diese, wenn möglich, ausgeschaltet werden, z.B.

  • Seite 34 FAULT display The FAULT indicator (yellow LED) is used to indicate the error or warning status of the CO detector. ALARM display The ALARM indicator (red LED) is used to indicate the alarm status of the CO alarm. TEST/SILENCE button The TEST/SILECNE button is used to test the unit.
