Carrera D132 in-car chip SP43 installation
The latest Slot.it cars come equipped with special connectors to facilitate the installation of the Carrera D132
UK
conversion kit. Follow these steps:
1. Loosen chassis screws, take off chassis.
2. Connect end A to the front brushes quick-connector.
3. Connect end B to the motor quick-connector.
4. Place the model on the track and power it up through the D132 power base: the red LED must flash.
5. If the LED doesn't flash, turn the car 180° and power it up again: if the led flashes, and the direction is wrong, the
pickup wires must be inverted, or the inverting cable SP46 must be used between the pickup and the SP43 IC.
6. Proceed to programming according to normal Carrera guidelines.
7. If the LED remains OFF, or fixed ON, and you are sure that the D132 power base is OK, check all the wires and
contacts. If all seems OK contact us.
In case the chip is mounted on a Scalextric car equipped with Scalextric 4-PIN connector:
1. Loosen chassis screws, take off chassis.
2. Loosen bottom hatch screw, disconnect 4-PIN connector.
3. If Slot.it replacement hatch is used, securely fix the chip to it with the 2 clamps. Make sure the infrared LED is
visible from the bottom hole.
4. Connect the chip with the 4-PIN connector through the dedicated port.
5. Proceed to programming according to normal Carrera guidelines.
Note: If car has inverted polarity (car runs the wrong way), use inverter cable (CODE:
