8.1

Simple operating functions with connected buttons

As usually, you can operate the DORMA door operator
directly via the connected buttons and thus check the
DORMA operator for proper installation.
8.2

Teaching

Please read this section completely before starting with any
teaching!
Please see separate instructions for programming of
PORTEO.
Teaching requires that both devices to be connected are put
into teach mode.
Press and hold the teach button for approx. 4 seconds until
the system LED starts to blink.
Then activate the teach button on the transmitter (e. g.:
BRC-H).
The two systems are only linked when the transmitter
acknowledges the connection.
Teach mode is automatically ended after 20 seconds.
