2. Connect the telephone as illustrated in the diagram. Only use the
telephone cable supplied because the equipment may not function if
another telephone cable is used.

Programming the wristband transmitter

After connecting the power plug, the LED on the bottom of the phone
flashes for approx. 5 seconds. After the LED has stopped flashing, you
can program the wristband transmitter.
In order to use the emergency call function using the RT26 wristband
transmitter, the wristband transmitter must be programmed into the tele-
phone. Programming can be done by using the PTx button on the bottom
of the phone.
A suitable object is required in order to press the PTx button (e.g. the nib
of a ballpoint pen).
Pay attention that the telephone is NOT con-
nected to the telephone line socket and/or
mains power connection when the batteries
are being inserted or replaced.
