4.) Instructions:
Installation instructions:
• Place the Chipster around the product to be labelled and carefully tighten
(see figure 1) by feeding the end of the strap through the opening in the plastic
nose (teeth inward).
• To attach the Chipster correctly, we recommend using a cable tie tool. Use the
'Basic' cable tie tool and set its torque to the lowest level (level 0).
The cable tie tool can be ordered under order number 55102015015009.
• Check the Chipster is secure.
• Cut off the surplus end section.
• Attach the coloured clip. (See figures 2 and 3)

Note
The Chipster is NOT reusable!
To prevent injuries, only attach and cut the Chipster using the cable tie tool. This keeps
the interface burr free.
Avoid the following to prevent the Chipster from coming loose from the products to be
labelled:
• Fastening too tightly
• Sharp edges
• Sharp objects
• Unintended stresses and strains
• Crushing
Operating instructions:
• Information can be read from the transponder using an RFID-compatible reader.
Here, the Scenter has been used (please see the relevant user information).
• The unique identification number of each Chipster enables products to be unmista-
keably labelled.
• The information is processed using an EDP system.

The Chipster is classed as electronic equipment within the meaning of the German
Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act [ElektroG].
