10. To manually switch off the milk frother at any time, press the ON/OFF button
(6) until the indicator light turns off.
11. Unplug the milk frother from the wall socket when it is not in use.
CAUTION
• Do not overfill the milk frother, as boiling liquid may splash out from the spout
or lid resulting in scalding.
• Ensure that the ON/OFF button (6) is clear of obstructions and that the lid (1)
is properly closed.
• Never open the lid (1) while the milk is heating or frothing.
• Always switch off the milk frother before removing the jug (4) from the power
base (7).
Tips
• Use a spoon to scoop out the froth before you pour the milk.
• When frothing milk, use cold semi-skimmed or UHT milk for best results. Full
milk does not froth well because it has a higher fat content.
• The appliance is designed to heat and froth milk. If you add coffee granules,
hot chocolate powder or other flavourings make sure you thoroughly clean the
jug immediately after use.

CLEANING AND CARE

CAUTION
• Always unplug the appliance from the wall socket and let it cool down before
cleaning.
• Do not immerse the jug (4), power base (7) or power cord (8) in water or other
liquids. Never rinse them under the tap or expose them to moisture.
• Never use solvents, chemical or abrasive cleaning agents, wire brushes, sharp
objects or scouring pads to clean the appliance.
• Do not put any part of this appliance in the dishwasher.
Clean the milk frother thoroughly after each use to ensure product performance and
longevity.
1. Unplug the milk frother and let the appliance cool down.
2. Disassemble all detachable parts.
3. Remove the jug (4) from the power base (7) and use a sponge to clean the
inside with warm soapy water.
4. Wipe the outside of the jug (4) and the plastic parts of the power base (7) with
a soft cloth moistened with water or mild detergent. Dry completely with a
soft, dry cloth.
NOTE: Ensure that all connectors and sockets are kept dry.
5. Wash the frothing whisk (2) and the mixing paddle (3) in warm water with a
mild detergent.
6. Once all parts are thoroughly dry, reassemble the appliance fully.
NOTE:
• Always clean the appliance before storing it for a long time.
• Store the appliance in its original packaging in a cool, dust-free, dry
environment away from direct sunlight.
