B. Software Installation
Various operating systems can slightly differ in their designs. Therefore the diagrams may
not look exactly like yours. Please follow the instructions referring to your operating system.
(Example: Windows XP)
1. After starting your operating system the "Hardwareupdate Assistant" will show up.
Please choose „Cancel".
2. Please insert the driver CD.
3. The installation starts automatically. Should the CD not start automatically please
start it manually by double-click on the symbol for your CD-ROM drive.
4. Please follow the instruction
5. The Driver will install
6. To finish the installation please restart your computer. Confirm with „Ok".
7. The installation is now completed..
C. Software Deinstallation
1. Please open „system navigation" (Start Settings System Navigation) and
double-click on „Software".
2. Please select „C-Media PCI Audio" and click on „Remove".
3. Please follow the on-screen instructions, and then restart your computer.
