Attaching the Door and Window Sensor
– Select the desired door or window to which the
door and window sensor is to be attached .
– Select the desired location on the door or window
where the door and window sensor is to be
attached . Be sure to select a location at the upper
area of the door or window and out of reach of
children and animals . Make sure that the location
is not on the side of the door or window where
the hinges are located, but on the side where the
latch or handle is located .
– Clean the area on the door or window and on the
door or window frame so that the adhesive tape
of the door and window sensor adheres well .
– Using the tape, attach one of the two components
of the door and window sensor to the door or
window and the other component to the door
or window frame, whichever provides the best
solution in terms of space . Make sure that the
distance between the two components of the door
and window sensor is no more than 1 .2 cm when
the door or window is closed .
– Press the door and window sensor for a few
seconds, so that the tape adheres well .
