GENERAL USER INFORMATION

x Before using the appliance for the first time, you must read and understand the operation manual completely.
x Consider the operation manual as part of the product and store it in a safe and accessible place. Include this operation manual if passing the appliance on to a third party.
x In the case of conflicts with national safety specifications or instructions, the national requirements must be followed.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using this electrical appliance, especially when children are present, basic safety precautions should always be observed.
x This appliance can be used by children from aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance
in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
x Children shall not play with the appliance.
x Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
x Use this appliance only for its intended purpose.
x Do not use with a voltage converter.
Danger! Electric shock due to damage to appliance
x Do not operate the appliance with a broken cord or plug, or if the appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in anyway.
x If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to
avoid a hazard.
x Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the work surface or let it touch any hot surfaces.
WARNING:
Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.
x To protect against risk of electrical shock, never immerse the unit or let it come into contact with water or any other liquids. Do not use the unit with wet hands. If the appliance should
become wet, damp or fall in water, remove plug from mains socket immediately. Do not put your hands in the water.
x When the appliance is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the
appliance is switched off.
x For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RDC) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding
30 mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask for installer for advice. The installation of the appliance and
its use must however comply with the standards in force in your country.
Warning! Injuries due to incorrect handling
x Switch off the appliance and unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off attachments and before cleaning the appliance.
x Never use the appliance on artificial hair
x Care should be taken to avoid contact with the skin, face and neck.
Caution! Danger of product damage
x Never use your appliance without paying attention!
x Always unplug the unit when not in use or left unattended.
x Do not wrap the cord around the appliance.
x Do not use outdoors or in damp areas.
x Never carry the unit by its power cord.
x During use the appliance and accessories become hot. Keep them away from surfaces that are not resistant to heat. Do not leave them near clothes, paper or other combustible objects and never cover
them.
x Do not apply hair products directly on the appliance. Do not direct any spray to it.
x Allow the appliance to cool before storing away.
CARE AND CLEANING
x Always disconnect the appliance from the wall socket and allow it to cool down completely before any cleaning operation.
x Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or scrub pads. Do not use alcohol or solvents.
x Wipe the main body and the ceramic plates with a slightly damp and soft cloth and dry with a soft and dry cloth.
x Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Please read all instructions carefully to familiarize yourself with your new ULTRON ELLIPSE OVAL CURLING IRON before using.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
1. Cool tip

DIRECTIONS OF USE
1. Plug in the appliance
2. To turn ON, rotate the temperature dial clockwise and the LCD display will turn on
3. Rotate switch to desired temperature
3. To adjust temperature settings rotate left or right
4. To avoid damage to the hair, set the temperature as needed for your hair type and style:
80°-150°C: for delicate, colour treated hair / 150°-180°C: normal textured hair / 180°-210°C: thick or wavy hair
5. Before use, treat hair generously with a heat protectant product.
6. 2 ways of curling with the clamp:
- Section your strands into approximately 2cm wide pieces, then open the clamp and wrap the hair around the barrel. Close the clamp to secure the end of the hair in place. Wait 5-8 seconds
and then open the clamp to release.
- Section your strands into approximately 2cm wide pieces, then open the clamp and place the end of the hair between the clamp and barrel. Close the clamp and wrap the hair around the
barrel in an upwards motion. Wait 5-8 seconds and then open the clamp to release.
7. To turn OFF, rotate the switch counter clockwise until display light turns off.
8. Unplug the iron after use and allow it to cool down before storing.
9. Note: The device will turn off automatically after 60min of not using it. (It is recommended to turn off and unplug the device after every use)
