5-Way Socket Strip with Removable 2x USB-A Charger

Intended use
The product is a socket strip with integrated USB-A
charger. The USB charger can be separated from the
strip and used as a stand-alone device.
This product is intended for indoor use only. Do not
use it outdoors. Contact with moisture (e.g. in a
bathroom) must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, do not rebuild
and/or modify this product. Using the product for
purposes other than those described above may
damage the product. In addition, improper use can
cause hazards such as a short circuit, fire or electric
shock. Read the instructions carefully and store them
in a safe place. If you pass the product on to a third
party, please hand over these operating instructions
as well.

a) General information
• The device is not a toy. Keep out of
the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material
lying around carelessly. It may
become a dangerous plaything for
children.
• Protect the product from extreme
temperatures,
direct
strong jolts, high humidity, moisture,
flammable gases, vapours and
solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical
stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product
safely, take it out of operation and protect it from
any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer
be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor
ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-
related stresses.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts,
impacts or a fall even from a low height may
damage the product.
• Always observe the safety information and
operating instructions of any other devices which
are connected to the product.
• Consult a technician if you are not sure how
to use or connect the product, or if you have
concerns about safety.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs must be
carried out by a technician or a specialist repair
centre.
• If you have any questions that are not answered
in these operating instructions, please contact our
technical customer service or other professionals.
b) Electrical safety
• Never pull the mains plug from the socket by
pulling at the cable. Always pull it from the mains
socket using the intended grips.
• Unplug the mains plug from the mains socket if
you do not use the device for an extended period
of time.
• Disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket
in thunderstorms for reasons of safety.
• Make sure that the mains cable is not squeezed,
these
bent, damaged by sharp edges or put under
mechanical stress. Avoid excessive thermal
stress on the mains cable from extreme heat or
cold.
• Do not modify the mains cable. Otherwise the
mains cable may be damaged. A damaged mains
cable can cause a deadly electric shock.
• Do not touch the mains cable if it is damaged.
First, power down the respective mains socket
(e.g. via the respective circuit breaker) and then
carefully pull the mains plug from the mains
socket. Never use the product if the mains cable
is damaged.
• A damaged mains cable may only be replaced by
the manufacturer, a workshop commissioned by
the manufacturer or a similarly qualified person,
so as to prevent any danger.
• Never plug in or unplug the mains plug when your
hands are wet.

be accessed easily.
• Never connect or disconnect if your hands are
wet.
• Never unplug from the mains socket by pulling on
the cable; always use the grips on the plug.
• When setting up, make sure that the cable is not
pinched, kinked or damaged by sharp edges.
• Always lay the cables so that nobody can trip over
or become entangled in them. This poses a risk
of injury.

• The product is equipped with a protection against
accidental contact. An integrated mechanism will
release the holes of the receptacle only, if the two
prongs of a power plug are inserted into the two
holes at once.
• Take special caution when children are around.
Children cannot recognize the danger arising
from the incorrect use of electrical devices. There
is a risk of a life-threatening electric shock!
Connection
• Insert the power plug into a properly earthed mains socket e.g wall socket.
• Connect:
- 4x consumers to the main protective sockets on the top of the strip.
- 1x consumer can be connected to the euro connector on the socket strip if the USB charger is removed.
- 2x USB-A devices can be connected to the USB ports.
• Switch the socket strip ON/OFF by pressing the power button.
Care and cleaning
Before cleaning first disconnect the socket strip/USB charger from the power supply then unplug
any connected devices.
• Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these may damage the
case or cause the product to malfunction.
• Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product.
• Dust can be easily removed using a soft, clean long-haired brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Disposal
This symbol must appear on any electrical and electronic equipment placed on the EU market.
This symbol indicates that this device should not be disposed of as unsorted municipal waste
at the end of its service life.
Owners of WEEE (Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment) shall dispose of it separately
from unsorted municipal waste. Spent batteries and accumulators, which are not enclosed by
the WEEE, as well as lamps that can be removed from the WEEE in a non-destructive manner,
must be removed by end users from the WEEE in a non-destructive manner before it is handed
over to a collection point.
Distributors of electrical and electronic equipment are legally obliged to provide free take-back of waste.
