Before initial use
1. Remove all packaging from the fan.
2. Attach the base to the fan.
3. Place the fan on a level and steady surface and
plug in the mains lead.
4. Insert the supplied battery into the remote
control. Follow the markings in the battery
compartment to ensure correct polarity.
5. Connect the mains cable to a power socket.
Instructions for use
Placement
• The fan heater should be placed on a hard, level and stable surface that is capable of supporting
its weight.
• Never place the fan heater on soft surfaces such as beds, blankets or thick rugs.
• Do not place the fan heater in a bathroom, laundry room, or close to a bath or shower.
• Do not use the fan heater in damp or very dusty environments.
• Fire hazard. Flammable materials such as furniture, paper, clothes and curtains must be placed at
least 50 cm above, behind and to the side of the heater, and a minimum of 120 cm in front of it.
If the fan has been operating in warm air mode it will continue to automatically run for
10 seconds in this mode after it has been put in standby mode (the time will countdown on
the display) to cool down the heating element.
