3.3 Product safety

3.3.1 Intended use

The device is designed for drilling in wood, ceramics, metal and plastic, impact drilling in
brick, masonry and stone, and tightening and loosening screws.
3.3.2 Foreseeable misuse – NOT PERMITTED –
Do not drill into power or water lines with the device.

3.4 Hazard warnings

3.4.1 General hazard warnings
• Protect the device against heat, open flame, water and moisture. There
is a risk of explosion.
• Contact of the screw or a drill with live wires can also apply voltage to
metallic appliance parts and cause the user to receive an electric shock.
• Work on the electrical equipment must be performed by a qualified elec-
trician, or by a trained person supervised and guided by an electrician in
line with electrical technology rules.
• Keep a tight hold on the device. High reactive torques can occur for a
short time when tightening and loosening screws. Secure loose workpi-
eces with a clamping device or vice.
• Wait for the power tool to come to a standstill before depositing it.
• If the power tool is snagged, this can lead to loss of control over the tool.
• Always use appropriate protective equipment, eye and ear protection
during use.
• Keep children and other persons away from the device when using it. If
you are distracted, you can lose control over the power tool.
