Before contacting the service department, please carry out the checks listed below. If you cannot
solve the problem by following the instructions below, contact your local retailer or a qualified
technician.
1. Check that the PC monitor is plugged into a power outlet that is
receiving electricity.
2. Have you pressed properly on the On/Off button?
3. Check the picture brightness and contrast settings.
No picture
4. If you connect the PC monitor to a laptop computer, make sure the
laptop has been switched to "Display on external monitor".
5. Check that the cable is properly connected and that it is not
damaged.
Blurred or imperfect
Check that the video cable is properly connected.

Unusual or missing
If the red, blue, green or any other colour disappears, check that the
colours
video cable is properly connected.
1. Check that the power cord is properly connected.
2. Check for possible interference from another electrical device or tool.
Avoid placing speakers, fluorescent lights, fans, etc. near the screen.
Flickering
3. Access the display settings by pressing the Menu button and then
automatically adjust the image according to the analogue settings (VGA).
The liquid crystal screen (LCD) is a high-tech product that contains about
a million transistors offering a high quality image. Occasionally, a few
blue, green, red dots (corresponding to inactive sub-pixels) may appear
on the screen. This does not affect the performance of your product.
Defective pixels
European Standard EN 9241-307 class II
Standard EN 9241-307 provides a definition of the characteristics relating
to pixel errors. These are listed in four classes and three types of errors.
Each pixel in turn breaks down into three sub-pixels corresponding to the
basic colours (red, green, blue).
