7. Now you can fill the spring bowl with wa-
ter. We recommend to use distilled water
only, temperated between +5 °C and max.
+35 °C. Important: Ensure that the pump is
submerged completely in water and the grid
of the tripod grid set is above the waterline!
8. Insert the mains plug into a power
socket. The fountain starts running and pum-
ping water through the water pump over the
bowls. Initially, there may still be air in the
pump and hose that impairs its operation. In
this case, repeatedly insert the power plug
into the power socket until the pump begins
to operate.
· You can set the flow rate of the water with
the flow control lever at the side of the pump
housing (see fig. G). Attention! Ensure you
have pulled the mains plug out of the power so-
cket before!
· Remove the power plug from the power socket
again to disconnect the pump.
imPortAnt notes
· Attention! NEVER insert the power plug into
the power socket if the fountain container is
empty or the pump is not completely covered
with water! It is important to prevent the pump
running dry to avoid any damage! Always fill
the fountain with water BEFORE operating the
pump through inserting the power plug into
the power socket. Do not use tHe PumP
WitHout Any WAter!
· The fountain and its electric pump are ONLY
suitable for using with water! Only use fresh,
clean water to fill the water basin! The tempe-
rature of the water should not exceed +35 °C!
· Do not fill any flammable liquids into the water
basin!
· Attention! ALWAYS pull out the power plug
when cleaning and maintaining the pump!

· A dirty pump will reduce the performance and
can lead to malfunction!
· Attention! ALWAYS pull out the power plug
when cleaning and maintaining the pump!
· To clean the pump, remove the back cover and
the impeller (see. fig. G). Use a small brush or
running water to remove any deposits.
· Attention! The pump-shaft cannot be remo-
ved.

note:
The metal fountain may not be used or stored
at temperatures lower than +5 °C - danger or
freezing water and minus temperatures.
The pump must be completely emptied before
storing it in a dry place!
troublesHooting
Check the following points if the pump is not
working:
· Check the power supply and possibly try out
another power source to ensure that the pump
is supplied with power.
· Check the hose for loops and obstructions.
· Check the hose inlet for blockages caused by
any deposits and remove these.
· Remove the housing with pump inlet to get im-
peller (see fig. G). Check whether the impeller
can rotate and that it is not malfunctioning due
to the rotational movement being blocked or
as a result of damage.
· Attention! Always disconnect the power
supply before handling the pump!
WArning
· The fountain can only be disconnected by
pulling out the power plug!
