1606-XLSBAT1, 1606-XLSBAT2, 1606-XLSBAT5 Bedienungsanleitung
Replacing the Battery of the 1606-XLS240-UPSC:
1. Remove the fuse and loosen the screw. (Fig. 1)
2. Lift up the battery-cover. (Fig. 2)
3. Remove the cable-connection from the battery poles. (Fig. 3)
4. Pull out the battery. (Fig. 4)
5. Put in the new battery 1606-XLSBAT5.
6. Connect the red cable (+) to the red plus (+) pole of the battery.
7. Connect the black cable (-) to the minus (-) pole of the battery.
8. Close the cover.
9. Tighten the screw.
10. Install the fuse.

Replacing the Battery of the 1606-XLSBATASSY1 and 1606-XLSBATBR1:
1. Disconnect battery fuse before working on the battery or on the DC-UPS.
2. Loosen screws with only one turn and slide the fixing bracket left to lift it up. (Fig. 5)
3. Remove the cable-connection from the battery poles.
4. Remove the old battery.
5. Put in the new battery 1606-XLSBAT1.
6. Connect the red cable (+) to the red plus (+) pole of the battery.
7. Connect the black cable (-) to the minus (-) pole of the battery.
8. Install the fixing bracket.
9. Tighten the screws of the fixing bracket.
10. Install the fuse.

Replacing the Battery of the 1606-XLSBATASSY2 and 1606-XLSBATBR2:
1. Disconnect battery fuse before working on the battery or on the DC-UPS.
2. Loosen screws with only one turn and slide the fixing bracket to lift it up. (Fig. 6)
3. Remove the cable-connection from the battery poles by loosing the pole-screws.
4. Remove the old battery.
5. Put in the new battery 1606-XLSBAT2.
6. Connect the red cable (+) to the red plus (+) pole of the battery. The recommended
tightening torque for the pole screws is 2-3Nm/ 18-26lb.in.
7. Connect the black cable (-) to the minus (-) pole of the battery.
8. Install the fixing bracket and slide it towards the battery poles.
9. Tighten the screws of the fixing bracket.
10. Install the fuse.

Batterietausch beim 1606-XLS240-UPSC:
1. Entfernen Sie die Batteriesicherung und lösen Sie die Schraube. (Bild 1)
2. Öffnen Sie das Batterie-Gehäuse. (Bild 2)
3. Ziehen Sie die Verbindungskabel von den Batterie-Polen ab. (Bild 3)
4. Entfernen Sie die Batterie (Bild 4)
5. Setzen Sie die neue Batterie 1606-XLSBAT5 ein.
6. Schließen Sie das rote Kabel (+) an den roten Plus Pol (+) der Batterie an.
7. Schließen Sie das schwarze Kabel (-) an den Minus Pol (-) der Batterie an.
8. Schließen Sie das Gehäuse.
9. Ziehen Sie die Schraube fest.
10. Stecken Sie die Sicherung wieder in den Sicherungsanschluss.

Batterietausch beim 1606-XLSBATASSY1 und 1606-XLSBATBR1:
1. Entfernen Sie die Batteriesicherung bevor Sie am Batteriemodul oder an der
DC-USV arbeiten durchführen.
2. Öffnen Sie die Schrauben (Screws) mit einer Umdrehung und schieben Sie den Halte-
winkel (Fixing bracket) zum Aufklappen nach Links. (Bild 5)
3. Ziehen Sie die Verbindungskabel von den Batterie-Polen ab.
4. Entfernen Sie die alte Batterie.
5. Setzen Sie die neue Batterie 1606-XLSBAT1 ein.
6. Schließen Sie das rote Kabel (+) an den roten Plus Pol (+) der Batterie an.
7. Schließen Sie das schwarze Kabel (-) an den Minus Pol (-) der Batterie an.
8. Montieren Sie den Haltewinkel.
9. Ziehen Sie die Schrauben des Haltewinkels fest.
10. Stecken Sie die Sicherung in den Sicherungsanschluss.
Batterietausch beim 1606-XLSBATASSY2 und 1606-XLSBATBR2:
1. Entfernen Sie die Batteriesicherung bevor Sie am Batteriemodul oder an der
DC-USV arbeiten durchführen.
2. Öffnen Sie die Schrauben mit einer Umdrehung und schieben Sie den Haltewinkel
(Fixing bracket) auf. (Bild 6)
3. Lösen Sie die Batteriepol- Schrauben und entfernen Sie die Polverbindungskabel.
4. Entfernen Sie die alte Batterie
5. Setzen Sie die neue Batterie 1606-XLSBAT2 ein.
6. Schließen Sie das rote Kabel (+) an den roten Plus Pol (+) der Batterie an. Das
empfohlene Anzugsmoment für die Polschrauben ist 2-3Nm/ 18-26lb.in.
7. Schließen Sie das schwarze Kabel (-) an den Minus Pol (-) der Batterie an.
8. Setzen Sie den Haltewinkel auf und schieben Sie diesen Richtung Batteriepole.
9. Ziehen Sie die Schrauben des Haltewinkels fest.
10. Stecken Sie die Sicherung in den Sicherungsanschluss.
