3. Make sure both height adjustment locks are tightened well, as the dryer
bonnet is large and heavy.
4. Make sure that the temperature dial is set to OFF. Plug the appliance to
the mains. Use the retaining clip to secure the power cord.
5. Lower the guard. The appliance will not start with the front guard lifted.
CAUTION! Lifting the front guard while the appliance is in operation will
turn it off.
6. Adjust the air louvre as required (it is beneath the front guard, inside of
the bonnet).
7. Set the desired operating mode (turning the temperature dial to any
setting other than OFF starts the appliance):
COOL: cold air – used in the last step of hair drying to give enough shine
and smoothness to the hair, with proper fixing of the styling.
LO HEAT: for drying slightly moist hair and any other treatment,
including strengthening and nourishing of hair. The LO HEAT mode is
also used for drying wigs and hair extensions.
HI HEAT: for drying very wet, natural hair. If the hair is partially dry,
switch the temperature dial to LO HEAT.
8. To turn on ionisation, turn the ion mode switch ON. Ionising is used for
general nourishment of hair and helps to minimise electrostatic charging
of hair, leaving it shiny. Ionising also reduces the time to dry the hair.
To turn off ionisation, turn the ion mode switch OFF.
9. Set the temperature dial to OFF to turn off on the appliance.
