Service life and segregation
The product's service life depends
on many factors such as how often it
is used, where it is used, etc. In prin-
ciple the product is to be replaced
immediately:
- wafter a heavy fall (extreme me-
chanical load)
- after contact with aggressive
chemicals
- in the event of corrosion
- in the event of excessive wear
.
The product should be replaced at
the latest after 5 years of normal and
expert use and providing no serious
damage has been caused by outside
conditions
USE
Approved diameter of static
(EN 1891) or dynamic (EN 892)
ropes used in single-rope mode:
8.0 –10.0 mm. Application: Self and

party rescue scenarios in the event

demonstrations, or use in industrial
situations.
