The scale is not designed for determination of mass:
- in trade;
- as a basis for calculating market fees, customs duties, taxes, bonuses, discounts, penalties, remuneration, compensation or
similar fees and charges;
- when exercising provisions of law and when giving opinions in court proceedings by judges and experts;
- of patient in medical practice for monitoring, diagnosing and treatment;
- for preparing medicaments prescribed in pharmacies;
- during analyses conducted by medical and pharmaceutical laboratories;
- when packing goods.
SAFETY OF USE
Do not place the scale on wet and slippery fl oor. Do not use the scale if its surface is wet. This will allow reducing the risk of slip-
pery, which may cause body injuries.
You must step on the middle of scale, do not put your feet next to the scale's edge, this will reduce the risk of injury caused by tilting
or overturning the scale. Unexpected tilting of scale may lead to breaking the glass surface which may cause additional injuries.
Upper surface of the scale is made of tempered glass. Avoid contact of glass surface with sharp objects which may scratch the
glass surface. Heavy objects put on the scale or impacts onto glass surface may lead to its breakage.
The scale is not waterproof; it should be kept in dry environment. Do not immerse the scale in water or other liquid.
If the scale indicates low battery, it should be replaced with fresh batteries or at least removed from battery chamber. Leakage
from a battery may destroy the product. Always replace the whole set of batteries. Used batteries should be utilized according to
local regulations.
The scale must not be used by persons with pacemakers or other electronic medical devices since the electric pulse may interfere
with normal operation.
Disabled persons, pregnant women and elderlies should use the scale under the care of other persons.
If the product was stored in temperature out of the range of working temperatures, prior to start or battery installation the product
should be left in operating environment for a time required for spontaneous change of product temperature.

PRODUCT USE

Product preparation to operation
Product should be unpacked, by completely removing all packaging components. It is recommended to keep the packaging that
may be used for product storing and transport.
There is a chamber at the bottom of the scale where you should install batteries referred to in section: "TECHNICAL DATA".
Open the fl ap of battery chamber by pressing the snap. Install batteries; when installing batteries please note the right polarity.
Snap in.
Measuring conditions. Place the scale on fl at, hard and level substrate (carpets and linings may disrupt measurements).
Start the product by carefully pressing the scale surface. Switching in the scale shall be indicated by turning in the scale display.
Selection of measuring unit
After switching in the scale, pressing the switch allows changing the unit of weight. Unit designation shall be shown on the
display.
