3.3 To use the chuck

Make sure that the drill is clean.

Lubricate the bottom part (A) of the drill. (Figure 3)

Put the drill in the chuck (B) and turn the drill until it
locks in position.

Pull the drill to make sure that it is fully installed.

To remove the drill, pull the chuck sleeve (C)
rearward.
3.4 To use the different function
modes
The product has 3 different function modes. Hammer mode,
hammer drill mode, and chisel mode. Turn the mode
selection knob until the arrow on the mode selection knob is
pointing at the required function mode.
● Turn the mode selection knob to the Hammer symbol to
use the hammer mode. (Figure 4)
● Turn the mode selection knob to the hammer and drill
symbol to use the hammer drill mode. (Figure 5)
● Turn the mode selection knob to the chisel symbol to use
the chisel mode. (Figure 6)
3.5 To operate the product
Warning! Use hearing protection.
Caution! At lower ambient temperatures the viscosity
of the grease can be too high and prevent the percussion
function. Operate the product for 5 minutes without load to
make the grease warm and decrease the viscosity.
Caution! Do not use blunt drills. Blunt drills can cause
overload to the motor.

Do a check of the grease level and fill with grease if it
is necessary. Refer to "4.4 To fill grease" on page
25..

Adjust the support handle to the required position.
Refer to "3.2 To adjust the support handle" on page
23..

Put the an applicable drill in the chuck. Refer to "3.3
To use the chuck" on page 24.

Make sure that the power trigger is in the off position.

Connect the power plug to an earthed power outlet.
The status light (A) comes on and the product is
ready to use. (Figure 7)
Warning! Do not connect the power plug if the power
trigger is in the on position.

Place the tip of the drill against the material and push
in the power trigger (B) to start drilling.

Hold the product firmly with both hands and push the
drill against the material to activate the percussion
function.
Note! It can be necessary to push the drill with more force
to activate the percussion function.
Caution! Do not use too much force when you push
the drill into the material. Too much force can decrease the
performance of the product.

Disconnect the power plug after operation.

Clean the product. Refer to "4.1 To clean the product"
on page 24.
4 Maintenance

4.1 To clean the product

Warning! Disconnect the product from the power out-
let before you clean or do maintenance on the product.
● Clean the external parts of the product with a damp cloth
and a mild detergent.
4.2 To do maintenance on the product.
Warning! Disconnect the product from the power
outlet before you clean or do maintenance on the product.
● Do a check of all screws. Tighten the screws if it is
necessary.
Warning! Loose screws can cause the product to
come apart. This can cause injury to you or bystanders.
● Add grease after the first 50 hours of operation and then
for every 100 hours of operation. Refer to "4.4 To fill
grease" on page 25.
