3.1 Conformity and Approval
Herewith, MONACOR INTERNATIONAL
declare that the transmitters TXS-220HSE,
TXS-221HSE, TXS-222HSE and TXS-
223HSE are in accordance with the basic
requirements and the other relevant regu-
lations of the directive 1995/5/EC. The
declaration of conformity can be found in
the Internet via the MONACOR INTER-
NATIONAL home page
(www.imgstageline.com).
In the Federal Republic of Germany, a
frequency assignment (for which a charge
is payable) is required for the transmitter.
The forms and notes concerning the reg-
istration for the transmitter can be found in
the Internet on the Web site of the Bundes-
netzagentur (Federal Network Agency)
under
www.bundesnetzagentur.de.
other countries, it is necessary to apply for
a corresponding approval. Prior to operat-
ing the transmitter outside Germany,
please contact the MONACOR subsidiary
or the corresponding authorities of the

4 Operation

1) Open the battery compartment and in-
sert a 9 V battery according to the
imprint in the battery compartment
(fig. 2). If the unit is not used for a lon-
ger period (e. g. more than a week), the
battery should be removed to prevent
damage to the transmitter in case of
battery leakage.
Dead batteries or defective
rechargeable batteries do not
belong in the household rub-
bish; always take them to a
special waste disposal (e. g.
collecting container at your
retailer).
2) Use the clip (3) to fasten the transmitter
to your girdle. If required, the clip can
be turned by 90° (locks into place). For
this purpose, slightly release the screw
of the clip and then fasten it again.
