The crimping tools are used as intended for connecting pipes within the
respective cross sections.
Use is only permitted for suitably qualified specialists who guarantee
compliance with all regulations in accordance with the recognised rules
of technology.
Proper use also includes:
observance of all instructions in this manual
•
regular checking of the tool (inspection and maintenance)
•
observance of all safety and operating instructions in this manual
•
as well as the relevant regulations for accident prevention.
Any other use or use beyond this is considered to be improper use.
After crimping, the connections must be subjected to a pressure test by
a suitably qualified specialist in compliance with all regulations according
to the recognised rules of technology. Leaky connections must be elimi
nated immediately or retightened accordingly.
It is the responsibility of the specialist technician carrying out the work to
acquire the current state of knowledge of the relevant standards.
