Cleaning
Please always disconnect the unit from the power source before
cleaning or moving it.
1. Do not clean the ice cube maker with sharp objects or aggressive
cleaning agents.
2. Clean the outside of the unit with a damp, soft cloth or rag. For
cleaning the inside, use a clean, dry cloth.
3. The plastic insert for collecting the ice cubes should be cleaned by
hand with a little detergent. The ice cube scoop can also be cleaned
with detergent, it is also suitable for the dishwasher.
Important
If the ice cube maker is not used for a longer periods of time, the
inside should be cleaned with a food-safe disinfectant. Such a
disinfectant is generally available in drugstores, there are also
cleaning agents specially made for ice cube makers.
Storage
1. First unplug the power cord from the power outlet.
2. Screw off the cap of the water drain valve on the back of the device
and let the water run out of the device. Tilt it slightly to make sure
that all water has drained out.
3. Place the unit in a dry place and allow it to dry. Leave the lid and the
water drain valve open so that the unit can also dry from the inside.
4. Put the cap back on the water drain valve and store the unit in a
cool place away from light.
