Energy Meter
Function
The EcoSavers Energy Meter measures energy use and calculates running costs of household appliances.
You can discover which appliances are the worst energy consumers and then limit their consumption.
Warning
- Do not plug 2 or more meters together
- For indoor use only
- Position the meter so that the meter can easily be disconnected from the mains
- Only free of electrical current when disconnected from mains
Operation
This product uses an internal battery to store the data.
This capacitor should be charged for first time use.
Plug in the energy meter for at least 10 minutes before
first use.
After you plugged in the energy meter, the display will
appear within 5 minutes. After 10 minutes charging the
internal battery. the energy meter is ready to measure the
energy consumption.
Plug in the device you want to monitor.
Upper part of LCD display
Press on the ENERGY button (B in fig. 1) to switch
between the following information available in the upper
part of the LCD display:
• W energy consumption
• V voltage
• A amperage
• Hz power frequency
• POWER FACTOR power factor
When the connected device consumes more then 3.680W
and therefor the device is overloaded. OVERLOAD will
appear in the LCD screen.
Middle part of the LCD display
Press on the COSTS button (C in fig. 1) to switch between
the following information available in the middle part of
the LCD display:
• KWh
• €
• C02 Kg
• DAY
• € / KWh
To program the costs per KWh, press and hold the SET button (A in fig. 1) for 3 seconds.
Press UP (D in fig. 1) to select the first number. Press SET again for the second number
and select the required number with the UP button. Also follow this procedure for the
third and fourth number and press the COST button (C in fig. 1)to finish the setting.
Now the cost per KWh is programmed in your device.
