will turn off automatically after one minute.
7. If the baby moves during the process you may use the "HOLD" function. Turn on the scales
(conducting the tare process where necessary) and place the baby in position. You will notice the
reading on the display varies slightly when the baby moves. Press the "HOLD" button (c) and the
word "HOLD" will start to flash on the display. As long as the word "HOLD" is not flashing the scales
will read your baby´s weight correctly. The scales will turn off automatically after one minute.
Note: If you place an object on the scales before turning them on, the reading will be "0.000" when
they are turned on (due to the fact the scales conduct an automatic tare when they are turned on).
Remove the object and press the "Tare" button (e) to give the empty scales a reading of "0.000".
5.3. CONNECTION WITH EMYBABY
This scale connects to a smartphone or tablet via a Bluetooth connection for recording and monitoring
the baby's weight.
Miniland has developed the eMyBaby application, available for iOS and Android, and easy to download
free of charge.
In order to download the eMyBaby application you should first access the respective application
store or o download it directly by scanning the corresponding QR code from those illustrated below:
1. Once the application has been installed, open it. Go to LOGIN and enter your username and password
to gain access, if you are already registered, or register if you have not done so before. Remember you
will receive a message of confirmation via the e-mail address you provided when registering.
2. Make sure the Bluetooth connection of your mobile device is activated.
3. If you have not done so before, you will have to create the profile of the baby on which you want to
record measurements. To do this, go to the "My Baby" section from the main menu of the eMyBaby
app and follow the steps shown there to create your file.
4. Now enter the "Scales" section from the main menu and select the profile of the baby on which
the measurement is to be carried out.
5. Select "New Measurement" and select the option to add using the "eMyScale plus" scale.
6. The Bluetooth connection symbol (6) will appear on the scale display.
7. Now measure the baby's weight as indicated in section 5.2 of this manual. Your tablet or mobile
phone will automatically collect the measurement taken by the scale.
8. Click on "Record weight" to record the measurement and keep it in the baby's weight history.
9. After 1 minute of inactivity, the scale will turn off automatically.
You may consult all the registers and view the progress of your baby's weight in graph form, comparing
them to WHO standards if you wish.
