Defrosting procedure:
1. Make sure to unplug the power cord from the mains.
2. Collect the water coming from the defrosting process into e.g. a plastic bowl
or another suitable, leakproof container.
3. Proceed with the following steps only when your hands are dry to avoid
injury from low temperature (it is best to wear gloves).
4. Remove all frozen products and make sure that any water melting from them
will not cause any hazard or damage. It is recommended to put them into
a sealed container and protect against defrosting, e.g. by placing in
a refrigerator or a cool place.
5. If necessary, you can accelerate defrosting by placing a container filled with
warm water in the freezer (do not use boiling or hot water!).
6. Wait for the ice inside to melt away; the water from defrosting can be
collected using a sponge.
7. Before operating the appliance again, clean its interior.
8. Close the lid/door and reconnect the appliance to the mains.
9. Set the optimum cooling performance.
10. Place the products to be frozen in the appliance.
11. After 4-6 hours, set the cooling performance suitable for the load in the
freezer.
