Ridder Meteo-Go! CX500 Bedienungsanleitung

The Meteo-Go! is a compact weather station that is especially suitable for use with the Ridder Horti-
MaX CX500. This document only describes the additional information needed to connect the weather
station to the Ridder HortiMaX CX500. The manual included with the weather station contains most
of the technical information. This document assumes that you are familiar with the Ridder HortiMaX
CX500 and CX Assistant.

Storage and transport
Keep the weather station in the original packaging for as long as possible to prevent damage.
Storage conditions:
Temperature -40°C ... 70°C, Humidity 5% ... 95%.
Safety instructions and warnings
• The weather station may only be installed by dealers certified by HortiMaX.
• Observe the local safety regulations and requirements.
• Follow the instructions in the manufacturer's manual of the weather station.
• Connect the weather station as instructed, taking into account the values and tolerances
specified.
• The weather station is connected directly to the IPC of the CX500. Take measures to protect the weather
station from lightning damage (for example, by installing a lightning conduction system or an optical
coupling).
Installation notes
See the included manual for instructions on how to correctly position and connect the weather station.
Install the weather station in a representative location. Please bear in mind factors that could affect the
weather station's measurements such as:
• Shade
• Leeward side installation or turbulence
• System inlets and outlets
• Radiation of heat or light
Supply voltage: 18 ... 30V DC / 18 ... 28V AC.
Connect the weather station to an RS485 COM port of the IPC.
Adding the weather station to the network
The weather station is available as the 'Meteo-Go!' preset in CX Assistant. Drag the preset onto the configu-
ration to add the measurements in the weather station to the configuration.
Removal
At the end of its useful life, dispose of the weather station in accordance with local regulations.

Please refer to the manual for the CE declaration of conformity of the weather station.

de Ridder HortiMaX CX500. De meegeleverde handleiding van het weerstation bevat de meeste technische
informatie. Dit document gaat er vanuit dat u bekend bent met de Ridder HortiMaX CX500 en CX Assistant.

Opslag en transport
Bewaar het weerstation zo lang mogelijk in de originele verpakking om schade te voorkomen.

Veiligheidsvoorschriften en waarschuwingen
• Het weerstation mag alleen door Ridder gecertificeerde dealers worden geïnstalleerd.
• Volg de lokaal geldende veiligheidsregels en eisen op.
• Volg de met het weerstation meegeleverde handleiding van de producent.
• Sluit het weerstation op de juiste wijze aan, houd rekening met de opgegeven waardes en toleranties.
• Het weerstation wordt direct op de IPC van de CX500 aangesloten. Neem maatregelen om het weerstation
te beschermen tegen bliksemschade. Bijvoorbeeld door het gebruik van een bliksemgeleidingsinstallatie
of een optische koppeling.
Installatie
Zie de meegeleverde handleiding voor het juiste positioneren en aansluiten van het weerstation. Plaats het
weerstation op een representatieve plaats. Houd rekening met beïnvloedende factoren zoals:
• Schaduw
• Windluwte of turbulentie
• In- en uitlaten van installaties
• Uitstraling van warmte of licht
Voedingsspanning 18...30 V DC / 18...28 V AC
Sluit het weerstation aan op een RS485 COM-port van de IPC.
Weerstation opnemen in het netwerk
Het weerstation is als de preset Meteo-Go! opgenomen in de CX Assistant. Door de preset in de configuratie
te slepen worden de in het weerstation aanwezige metingen aan de CX500 configuratie toevoegt.
Verwijdering
U dient het weerstation af te voeren in overeenstemming met de lokale wetgeving.
Normen
Raadpleeg de meegeleverde handleiding voor de CE verklaring van overeenstemming van het
weerstation.

• With long transmission paths, connection to the GND
of data acquisition may reduce their susceptibility to
interference.
• There should not be any electrical connection
between POWER_GND and DATA_GND.
• Always upgrade to the latest version of the
CX-Assistant and the CX-Image.
